endever* corbin presents “Evidence-based best practices for Speaking AAC Users across all environments (schools, post-secondary education settings, places of work).”

Course Description: This evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming educational presentation will draw on contemporary research and Autistic AAC user community wisdom, and connect the audience with additional AAC community resources.

The course includes slides handout, a resource sheet, and a Certificate of Attendance

Target audience: This educational presentation is designed for AAC Users, Therapists including SLPS, OTs, and Mental Health Counselors, Educators, Families, Medical Providers and Medical Staff, Human Resources Managers, and Post-secondary Professors.

 

endever* corbin, one of the moderators for #AutChat on Twitter, is a semispeaking autistic self-advocate who is multiply disabled, trans, and queer. They enjoy sharing their lived experience and expertise as an AAC user with professionals, caregivers, and peers. endever* is also proud to contribute to more formal advocacy as a community research partner and as a presenter.
